KNIGHTINGALES CHESS ACADEMY
The Road to Chess Mastery
Knightingales Chess Academy has been created to instill a life-long passion for chess to kids of all ages. With the correct instruction and guidance, we believe all kids have the potential to excel in chess and love the sport. While chess can be complicated at times, it is our aim to showcase the beauty of the game. To reveal the joy when a combination is executed, when a sacrifice is successful, or when checkmate is inevitable. As Bobby Fischer once said, "Chess is Life," and that my dear reader is our academy in a nutshell.
Teaching Methodology: Here at Knightingales it is our firm belief that with correct guidance, anything is possible. As such we start out by assessing what the child's level is (beginner, intermediate, or advanced). We follow up by providing a ten-week syllabus' consisting of opening theory, tactics, and endgame principles. Online Lessons will consist of thorough instructions/explanations, notes, and additional homework. Finally, we test the student each ten weeks with a mastery exam. Ultimately, with the teacher's guidance, and the student's dedication chess improvement is assured.
